I was born at Kincardine Hospital. I lived on Lot 7 Concession 1 in Bruce Township until I got married.
I married Ernie Greer, Lot 35 Concession 12, Kincardine Township. I lived there for 44 years, then moved to Inverhuron. Now I am back in Kincardine.
I lived on the farm and loved it. We were store keepers, Greer’s General Store in Glammis. We bought it from Ernie’s parents in 1946 and sold it in 1976.
We raised four children, but they all moved away.
One is a chartered accountant, one with an insurance degree, a daughter in Social Services and one in archeology and anthropology.
They live in Kitchener, Cambridge,Toronto and Edmonton.
I have 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
I never did try to live anywhere else outside of Bruce County.
