I have been here for 51 years, and would not live anywhere else.

I came from Troup New York, to see an uncle in Hepworth, that’s how I knew about Bruce County. When I first came to work at the Bruce County Library, I was just a student. During that summer, I packed boxes of books that went to all of the one room schools throughout Bruce County. The boxes were old butter boxes and were used over and over again. They could hold 35 books, and were very heavy. I worked for two summers, then graduated University. I also worked in Kitchener and then came back here and oversaw all of the libraries. I have been here for 51 years, and would not live anywhere else.
