I was born in Wingham and moved to Walkerton in 1966 to work for Canada Packers Poultry. I was a night billing clerk and got transferred to the County department in 1969 to become senior accountant in 1990.
In 1980, I took time out to get married to Anna in Toronto. We bought our house on South Street and were there until 2015, then moved into a condo.
I’m presently involved with three boards-The Food Bank, Carrick Camp and Condo Corporation Board. I have been the treasurer of Pentecostal Church since 1984.
I still do income tax for people, but I am supposed to be retired.
I enjoy living in Walkerton. People are nice and there are nice stores.
