My family has been coming to Bruce Beach for 5 generations now.
My grandparents, Bert Gray and Henry both lived on farms outside Ripley and Amberley.
They would go down to Boiler Beach for a day outing and my grandmother used to go to the school (which is now a home/cottage) there.
We have spent all our summers in Kincardine and some of our very best memories have been made here.
I grew up walking in the Saturday night parade, followed by the concert in Victoria Park, an ice cream cone and a fire with marshmallows on the beach.
The tradition continues to this day with my granddaughters.
Bruce beach, in many ways, is our real home.
